Pipable is a free AI bookkeeping software built for small business owners in the Philippines. Instead of asking you to type in every transaction, Pipable lets you snap a photo of your POS screen or upload a CSV file, and the AI reads the numbers, categorises each entry, and logs them automatically. Every week, Pipable sends you a plain-language health report so you always know whether your business is earning.

Who is Pipable built for?

Pipable is built for small business owners in the Philippines who have income and expenses but do not have time to manually log every sale. It works best for cafés, coffee shops, laundry shops, rental property owners, salons, repair stores, food carts, freelancers, and e-commerce sellers. Rental businesses also get a dedicated Rental Management module for tracking units, renters, and payments.

Pipable is available on the web at pipable.app and is designed specifically for small businesses in the Philippines. It handles peso (₱) amounts, GCash payments, and Philippine POS exports natively. Any internet-connected device with a browser — desktop, tablet, or mobile — can access it.

Is Pipable only for businesses in the Philippines?

Pipable is built for Philippine small businesses first — it handles peso (₱) amounts, GCash payments, and POS systems common in the Philippines natively. However, any small business anywhere can use it. The AI works with any currency or POS export format. Businesses outside the Philippines simply treat the peso fields as their local currency.

Who made Pipable?

Pipable is an independent software product built for Philippine small business owners. It is not affiliated with pipable.ai, the Python package named pipable, or any other product using a similar name.

Getting started

How do I sign up for Pipable?

Go to pipable.app/signup, create an account with your email, choose your business type (café, laundry, rental, etc.), and invite any staff members. No credit card is required. The whole process takes under five minutes.

How long does setup take?

Most users are logging their first transactions within five minutes of signing up. There is no onboarding session, no setup call, and no data migration required. You create a workspace, choose your business type, and start — either by snapping a photo or uploading a CSV.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Pipable runs entirely in your browser at pipable.app — on desktop, tablet, or mobile. There is no download or installation required.

Can I try Pipable before creating an account?

Yes. The free AI analysis tool at pipable.app/transaction-summary lets you upload any CSV or Excel file and get an AI-generated breakdown of your transactions with no signup required. Your file is processed in memory and deleted immediately after — nothing is stored.

Features

What is Sales Snap and how does it work?

Sales Snap is Pipable's photo-to-ledger feature. You take a photo of your POS end-of-day screen or a printed receipt summary, and the AI reads the totals, items, dates, and amounts from the image. It then creates the corresponding transaction entries automatically — no typing required. The entire process takes about 30 seconds.

Can Pipable import from Excel or a CSV file?

Yes. Pipable accepts CSV and Excel (XLSX) exports from any POS system or spreadsheet. When you upload the file, the AI automatically maps your columns to the correct fields — it identifies dates, amounts, categories, and payment methods without you having to configure anything manually.

What is the AI weekly digest?

The weekly digest is a short AI-generated summary of the past 7 days of your business activity. It compares your revenue and expenses to the previous week, highlights what changed, flags anything unusual, and tells you whether your business is trending up or down — delivered every Monday morning in plain language.

What is the business health score?

The health score is a 0–100 rating that Pipable calculates automatically based on your income, expenses, and transaction patterns. It updates in real time as new transactions are approved. A score above 70 generally indicates a healthy cash position; below 50 signals that expenses are outpacing revenue.

How does anomaly detection work?

Pipable's AI continuously monitors your transaction history. When it detects an expense category that spikes more than twice its 3-month average, a zero-revenue day, or a likely duplicate entry, it raises an alert in your dashboard. This catches problems — billing errors, theft risks, or data entry mistakes — before they become losses.

What AI business reports does Pipable generate?

Pipable generates two types of on-demand AI reports. The Business Report is a full 800–1,500 word analysis of your income sources, spending patterns, risk flags, and recommended actions. The Utility Report scans your last 6 months of expenses and identifies every utility and subscription cost, then tells you exactly what to cut or renegotiate.

How does team access work?

You can invite up to 5 staff members per workspace. Staff members can log transactions, but those entries sit in a pending queue until the owner approves or rejects them. This keeps your books clean and controlled — staff input the data, you decide what gets posted.

What rental management features does Pipable have?

Rental businesses get a dedicated Rental Management module that covers the full rental lifecycle: a product catalog with daily rates and reservation fees, real-time availability tracking (Available / Rented / Inactive), active rental cards with overdue badges, partial payment tracking with locked rates, and a mark-as-done action that automatically creates an income transaction. Cancellations include a refund warning so no fake income slips through. A full rental history is kept for refunds and disputes. These features appear automatically when you select "Rental" as your business type.

Does Pipable work for freelancers?

Yes. Freelancers can use Sales Snap to log project payments, CSV import to bulk-upload invoices or bank exports, expense tracking, and AI reports. Rental-specific features (availability tracking, overdue badges, reservation fees) are hidden for freelancer workspaces — you only see tools that fit your business type.

How accurate is Pipable's AI?

Pipable's AI is designed to be honest about uncertainty rather than guess. If it cannot confidently read a value from a photo or file — an unclear amount, an ambiguous date, an unrecognised column — it asks you a clarifying question before creating any entry. Numbers that appear in your ledger have been either confirmed by the AI with high confidence or reviewed by you.

Pricing

Is Pipable free?

Yes. Pipable is currently free for all business types. Every feature — Sales Snap, CSV import, AI weekly digest, Business Report, Utility Report, Rental Management, team approvals, and the health score — is included at no cost. No credit card is required to sign up.

Will Pipable always be free?

Some features may move to paid plans in the future. However, Pipable is fully free right now, and users who sign up during the free period are likely to receive preferential pricing when paid plans are introduced. Creating an account today locks in your access.

Is there a transaction limit or data cap?

No. There is currently no limit on the number of transactions you can log, files you can import, or team members you can invite (up to 5 per workspace). All features are available from day one without usage caps.

Compatibility

Does Pipable work with GCash?

Yes. You can track GCash income in two ways: snap a photo of your GCash transaction history screen, or export the CSV from the GCash app and upload it. Pipable identifies each GCash credit, labels it as income, and reconciles it alongside your cash sales in a single daily ledger.

Which POS systems work with Pipable?

Pipable works with any POS system that can produce a printable summary screen or export a CSV file. This includes most Philippine POS systems such as Mosaic, PayMongo, Maya Business, and simple cloud-POS tools. If your POS can print an end-of-day report, Sales Snap can read it.

Does Pipable have a mobile app?

Pipable is a web application accessible from any browser, including mobile browsers on iOS and Android. There is no separate native app to download. The mobile browser experience is optimised for the Sales Snap feature so you can photograph your POS screen directly from your phone.

Does Pipable work offline?

No. Pipable requires an internet connection because the AI processing (Sales Snap image reading, CSV parsing, weekly report generation) runs on Pipable's servers. An internet connection is needed to log transactions, view reports, or access your dashboard.

Does Pipable integrate with my bank?

Pipable does not currently connect directly to bank accounts. Instead, you import bank statement CSV exports manually. This keeps your banking credentials entirely within your bank's own systems — Pipable never sees your login information.

How is Pipable different from QuickBooks?

QuickBooks is a full accounting platform designed for businesses with accountants or bookkeepers. It requires you to manually categorise every transaction, understand double-entry accounting, and manage chart of accounts. Pipable is designed for Philippine small business owners who are not accountants — you snap a photo or upload a file, and the AI handles the categorisation and logging. Pipable is also free; QuickBooks costs ₱1,000–₱3,000+ per month.

How is Pipable different from Wave Accounting?

Wave is a free accounting tool but it still requires manual transaction entry and is built around Western accounting conventions (invoicing, payroll, USD). Pipable is built specifically for Philippine small businesses — it handles peso amounts natively, supports GCash reconciliation, reads POS screen photos, and gives you a weekly plain-language report rather than accountant-style dashboards.

How is Pipable different from keeping a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet requires you to type in every transaction yourself, run your own formulas, and manually spot anomalies. Pipable eliminates the manual entry entirely — you snap a photo or drop a CSV and the AI does the filing. It also proactively flags anomalies, generates weekly summaries, and calculates your health score automatically, so you do not need to build or maintain any formulas.

Can Pipable replace my bookkeeper?

For basic income and expense tracking, yes. Pipable automates the data entry that a bookkeeper would do manually: reading POS reports, logging transactions, categorising expenses, and producing a weekly summary. If your business requires formal financial statements for BIR filing, bank loans, or audits, you may still need a CPA for those specific tasks — but your day-to-day books can be handled by Pipable.

What features are coming soon?

Pipable's roadmap includes: a customer database for tracking repeat customers and lifetime value; inventory tracking with stock levels and low-stock alerts; recurring transactions that auto-create monthly rent, salary, and subscription entries; custom reports and CSV/PDF exports filtered by category, payment method, or staff member; and native iOS and Android apps.

How do I get support?

Workspace owners can contact support through the in-app request form or via the email address listed on the website. The public /transaction-summary tool is self-service — in-app support is available only for registered workspace owners.

Privacy & security

Is my financial data safe with Pipable?

Yes. Your transaction data is stored securely and is accessible only to you and the team members you explicitly invite. Pipable does not sell your data to third parties. The free AI analysis tool at /transaction-summary processes your file in memory and deletes it immediately after the session — nothing from that tool is stored.

Who can see my business transactions?

Only you and the staff members you invite to your workspace can see your transactions. Staff members see only the transactions relevant to their role; the full financial view is visible only to workspace owners. Pipable staff do not access individual business data.

Does Pipable store photos I take with Sales Snap?

Photos captured via Sales Snap are processed by the AI to extract transaction data and are not stored permanently as image files. Only the extracted transaction data — amounts, dates, categories — is retained in your ledger.

Can I delete my workspace and data?

Yes. Workspace owners can delete their account and all associated transaction data at any time. Contact support through the in-app request form or via the email listed on the website, and your workspace and data will be removed. The free /transaction-summary tool does not store any data — nothing to delete.
