Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using Pipable. By using the service, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account on Pipable or by using any feature at pipable.app (including the free /transaction-summary tool), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Pipable. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and workspace owners.
2. Description of service
Pipable is an AI-powered bookkeeping web application designed for small businesses in the Philippines. Features include AI transaction logging from POS photos (Sales Snap), CSV and Excel import with automatic column mapping, a weekly AI business digest, anomaly detection, a business health score, break-even tracking, rental management, team approvals, and AI-generated business and utility reports. Some features are available without an account (e.g., the free AI analysis tool); others require a registered workspace. Pipable reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts and workspaces
To access the full Pipable service you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Each workspace is associated with one primary owner account.
- Workspace owners may invite up to 5 staff members. Staff members are granted limited access as defined by the owner and these Terms.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
- You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Pipable only for lawful business bookkeeping purposes. You must not:
- Upload data that you do not have the right to process or share.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Pipable AI models or APIs.
- Use Pipable to process data for any business activity that is illegal under Philippine law.
- Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Submit false, misleading, or fabricated financial data with intent to defraud.
- Interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the service or its infrastructure.
- Resell or sublicense access to Pipable without our written permission.
Pipable reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these provisions without prior notice.
5. Pricing and free access
Pipable is currently free for all users. No credit card is required to sign up and all features are included at no charge during the free period.
We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will notify existing workspace owners by email at least 30 days before any free feature moves to a paid tier. You will never be charged without explicit consent. Users who created accounts during the free period are likely to receive preferential pricing, but we make no binding commitment in that regard unless separately communicated in writing.
6. Your data
You retain full ownership of all transaction data, business information, and files you upload to Pipable. By using the service, you grant Pipable a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. We do not claim any ownership over your data. For details on how your data is collected, stored, and protected, see our Privacy Policy.
7. AI accuracy and financial decisions
Pipable's AI features — including Sales Snap image reading, CSV column mapping, weekly digests, anomaly detection, health score, and AI reports — are provided to assist you with bookkeeping. They are not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated entries before approving them, and for verifying any figures used in formal financial reporting, BIR filing, loan applications, or business decisions. Pipable is not liable for losses arising from reliance on AI-generated data without independent verification.
8. Intellectual property
All software, design, text, branding, and other materials comprising the Pipable service (excluding your data) are owned by Pipable and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Pipable materials without our prior written consent. The Pipable name and logo are trademarks of Pipable. Pipable is not affiliated with pipable.ai, the Python package named pipable, or any other product using a similar name.
9. Termination
By you: You may delete your workspace at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Deletion removes all your workspace data within 30 days.
By Pipable: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we decide to discontinue the service. We will provide reasonable notice except where immediate termination is required to protect the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases, but Sections 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 of these Terms survive.
10. Disclaimers
Pipable is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Access to the service may be suspended for maintenance, security updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pipable and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Pipable shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Pipable in the 12 months preceding the claim (or ₱1,000 if you paid nothing during that period). Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Pipable service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in the Philippines. Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have as a consumer under Philippine law, including rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will notify workspace owners via email at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of Pipable after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using Pipable and may delete your workspace before the effective date.
